But he has friends now. As in plural.

A little part of me died when I saw the clip of the second set. And of course I was torn between flapping and crying during the last one. CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE FULL EPISODE!

Memorization

I love how in their last moments together the thing Sherlock seems to want most is to make John laugh. John's laughter is like his favorite thing ever and now he's never going to hear it again and it's like he's memorizing it.

AND MARK GATISS YOU JUST RIPPED A FaMILY APART I HOPE YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!

Anderson was our clue

Yes! Plus Anderson postulated that is was Moriarty's body that was substituted for Sherlock's. Anderson's an idiot but not so much that he would try to claim that Moriarty was both dead there on the pavement and being Sherlock's body. So that means that Moriarty's body wasn't there when the police got there.

I still have no idea how he did it.

A Happy One

Gatiss can be nice to us sometimes. After all he knew the fandom was going to go nuts withe the whole Watson baby thing but he gave us Archie to show us that Sherlock is indeed awesome with kids. Of course we all knew that but it's nice to be confirmed. This is all kinds of awesome.

He never expected

I think that Sherlock loves Molly.

I know that the ship has hit some rocky ground {The Woman, Jeannine} but look at the way he looks at her. And more than that {because he's faked that before}  I think that he always took Molly for granted. And now she's engaged and I think that jolts him a little. He came back thinking everything would be the same and while the focus is on him repairing his relationship with John I think he's just as surprised and almost as lost to find that Molly has moved on.

And as for Molly moving on hogwash. She picked a guy with dark curly hair who dresses like Sherlock and then stabbed him with a fork when he criticized Sherlock. She was the only one who saw Sherlock leave the wedding and she broke off her engagement and cared enough to yell at him in the beginning of episode three.

Plus she's in his mind palace. And his mind palace is the place where his perception of people live. He perceives mycroft as the wise one who looks down on him, John as the one who is always there with a snarky comment, and Moriarty as the crazy, lazy, hurtful part of himself. And Molly's there too. And she's concerned about him and just wanting him to live and be ok. He knows she cares about him and we've been shown that if you care about Sherlock it shocks and touches him because he never expected anyone to care for him. Also notice that in the mind palace Molly is the only one who is nice to him.

I will go down with this ship

Favorite moment ever right down there on the left. too. many. feels.

I just can't wait to see this scene. I knew he was going to forgive her but then I saw  gif sets of this scene and.... right in the feels.

Company

Yes we're back on hiatus but it's a short one this time and, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we are the only fandom who had a main character go on hiatus with us. I mean as bad as out pain was John's was worse. I would say that we are a tortured fandom, yes, but at least we have company.

The smart one

I think that Sherlock is saying "how would you know" because he now knows that he is lonely. Before he, like mycroft just thought that this was the way smart people felt but since he's been friends with John and Gregg and Mrs. Hudson and Molly he knows that the feeling he's always had is loneliness and he recognizes the symptoms in mycroft. Mycroft has never had friends so he doesn't know the difference.

It's kind of like how when they were little they both thought that mycroft was smart and Sherlock was stupid. But then they met real people and discovered that they were both geniuses. Sherlock has slowly become more human and Mycroft hasn't. So I think actually by the end of the third season it is Sherlock who is the smart one because he realized that people need people and that friendship and love are more important then even the work. Mycroft still doesn't understand that though he did save his brother's life.

It doesn't have to be be deductions

This is just about the cutest fan art I have ever seen. And I love love love the way the little boy looks so much like little Sherlock.

Little Sherlock is one of my favorite things about series three. Gatiss just did so much with their relationship in all three episodes, teasing us with "playing deductions" and then the mention of Redbeard. It totally broke me up when I saw pictures of the ending. Mycroft has always been one of my favorite characters {I even got one of my friends to nickname me Mycroft}but I love the feeling of fulfilled potential that this season gives. Like we knew there was so much there and now we can see some of it and we're going nuts. At least I am.

We are on hiatus. Everything occurs to us

This is also the Fandom. Am I right? I firmly believe that Mark Gatiss has no idea how Moriarty survived. He's just going to rely on Tumbler to come up with a good theory.

A Clue for the Blue Detective

I just love the fact that they made the whole "Sherlock doesn't understand outer space" thing matter. That's probably one of my favorite things about Sherlock. Everything is connected.

Also I just love how Sherlock intensifies when he realizes that it's a child on the other side of the phone. That's the moment when I started crying.

Sherlock just loves children. More then that he considers himself a child. We've seen that more in series three with his relationship with Archie and his referring to John and Mary as "the best parents".  And then in the last episode we see him and Mycroft both seeing him as little boy Sherlock at times.  Not even knowing John was the one strapped to the bomb made him react the way that the child's voice did.

Reason number 111768 why I love Sherlock Holmes.
